BILL READY
Bill Ready, founder and CEO, is a Baylor University graduate with a BBA in Accounting and Business Management. Following 3 years of law school at Baylor School of Law, specializing in Business Law and Tax, he spent the next 15 years as the Vice-President, then President, of his family’s commercial/ residential construction and real estate-development company. He spent several years as Vice-President of Engineering/Construction of Southwest Recreational Industries, the owner of Astro Turf synthetic sports field systems. In 2004, he started his own sports recreational company serving the southwestern United States. In 2008 he was drawn back into residential construction at the request of friends and the associates who had experienced devastating destruction of their homes due to Hurricane Ike. The redesign and construction of these homes reignited his love of residential construction and the satisfaction of helping people construct the home of their dreams.
WESTON READY
Weston Ready, his son, graduated from Texas Tech University Rawls School of Business in 2008. He worked his way through college in the commercial construction industry, learning from the ground up, all aspects of this specialized construction industry. He has a solid knowledge of the business aspects through both education and hands-on experience, received from working with his father since graduation. He offers depth and longevity to the AFW team.
